Paul Bastide returns to provide us with an understanding of the new IBM/Lotus Symphony. This open standards based, right-feat ured, productivity suite is offered at no-charge to the Lotus community and opens many opportunities. With the tight integration across the Lotus portfolio, customers are able to realize flexibility and choice.
This presentation introduces you to the Lotus Symphony Toolkit and the integration with Notes 8.5
IMPORTANT:
Also tonight we will be discussing the whether to continue this group, and if so, how it should proceed. For example one suggestion has been made to only meet quarterly, as we have not been able to sustain a large member turnout monthly, and more recently, without a program chair, have not been able to arrange monthly speakers.
Yet we each have a need to keep up professionally. In that light, we want to call your attention to The Lotus User Group, The Global Community for Lotus Professionals www.LotusUserGroup.org Free membership to LotusUserGroup.org provides your link to a year-round, world-wide community with access to other Lotus professionals, discounts, events, and more. To learn more about the organization, review the About Us page.
They hold virtual meetings

and interesting Web Forums.
The previous sessions are often recorded and are available.
